WALK THE RED LINE – DOWNLOAD THE APP

After taking part to Exercise Number 2 by Walis Johnson YKON developed a simple android app which allows you to actually walk on the “redlining” map for Brooklyn. When walking around in Brooklyn the app shows your location on the historical map from 1938, allowing you to trace the borders between “good” and “bad” neighborhoods. You can download the app temporarily from following app developer account:

You have to allow apps from “unknown” sources in your security settings. We guarantee that the app is free of any virus, spyware or malware. We will soon provide the app through the Play Store, and hopefully have an iOS version as well.
